Fifteen founders for fifteen years
Kolarac, Igumanov, Luka Ćelović — Belgrade’s great endowers did not buy visibility; they left their city in their debt. To mark fifteen years of work, Kulturni element is forming, for the first time, a closed circle of partners: a small number of companies and individuals with whom we want to work for the long term, not from project to project.
A ktitor is the Serbian word for a founder-patron — the person whose gift makes a church, a school or a hall possible and whose name stays with it. Most of what we do is free for the audience. That was a decision we made at the start and have kept for fifteen years. But free for the audience does not mean free — every one of those evenings is made possible by someone.
What we offer is not advertising space. It is the position of a host: a place beside the artists, access to programmes before the public, and a programme of the season that carries your name. The names of the founding members of the Ktitor Circle will be permanently recorded in the anniversary monograph; the founders’ list closes with the fifteenth member.
Delivered in full, regardless of funds raised.
Activated when a patron comes forward. Until then, the programme is not announced.

The level names follow the Serbian tradition of endowment. Levels can be combined — the Musical Vaults series, for instance, may have one patron for the whole series or several ktitors for individual concerts.
Contributor
For individuals, young entrepreneurs, professionals and friends in the diaspora.
What it makes possible
A contribution to the core season programme.
Benefactor
For law firms, medical practices, family businesses and smaller companies.
What it makes possible
A contribution to the core programme; together — one additional concert in the Winners series.
Founder-Patron
For mid-sized and large companies and foundations.
What it makes possible
One programme from the supported season carries the ktitor’s name — a Musical Vaults concert, a revival, the St Sava concert or We Give Art.
Grand Ktitor of the Season
The highest level, limited to two partners per season.
What it makes possible
The major exhibition production or another flagship production of the season, with title partnership and the production of the partner’s own annual event.
Membership card
Personalised and numbered. A network of member benefits (Klub benefita) is in preparation.
Quarterly bulletin
Four issues a year — October, January, April, July.
Reserved seats
At every free-admission event of the core season.
Ktitor Dinner
An annual reception during the Kulturni element Days in May.
Anniversary monograph
Your name in the monograph on fifteen years of work, according to your level.

Patreon pageCompanies registered in Serbia can contract their contribution as an investment in culture: under Article 15(3) of the Corporate Income Tax Law, expenditure on culture is recognised as an expense of up to 5% of total revenue. Alternatively, a sponsorship agreement with counter-performance (visibility and promotion) is booked as an advertising expense. We agree the model together with your accounting team.
The Kulturni element Association is not registered for VAT, so no VAT is charged. Amounts are stated in euros; payment is made in dinars at the National Bank of Serbia middle rate on the day of payment, or to the association’s foreign-currency account. Every contribution is covered by an agreement and a receipt.
