Within the first season of the cycle "Musical Vaults of Belgrade", the Belgrade audience had the opportunity to attend an exceptional spiritual and artistic event. The renowned British ensemble "Voce chamber choir", under the baton of the world-renowned Suzi Digby, performed in the Church of Saints Cyril and Methodius in Čukarica.
The event began with a solemn mass at 10 a.m., during which the choir completed the liturgical celebration with their voices. After the mass, there was a full-length concert where the ensemble presented its wide repertoire of spiritual and chamber music. The host of the event, parish priest p. Alojz Letonja, warmly welcomed the artists and emphasized the importance of such international cultural meetings.
The choir "Voce chamber choir", founded in 2003, enjoys the reputation of being one of the most flexible and highest quality chamber choirs in London. Their rich history includes performances all over the world, as well as a notable collaboration with the legendary Mick Jagger in Hyde Park in front of a multi-million audience. This performance in Belgrade was an opportunity to connect different cultures and traditions through the universal language of music.
