Just 24 hours after the first concert and the performance of the "Mokranjac" Music School, organized by the Cultural Element and the Belgrade City Museum, the second musical event within the "Concerts in the Atelier" program was held. On Sunday, December 3, 2017, the brilliant young guitarist Amalia Miller performed for the Belgrade audience.
In the beautiful and intimate ambiance of the Paja Jovanović Museum, the audience had the opportunity to enjoy the sounds of the classical guitar through a diverse and demanding repertoire. With her virtuosity, Amalia Miller took the audience through different musical epochs, from Bach's capital "Chaconne", through the Spanish melos of Albéniz and Llobet, all the way to modern compositions by contemporary authors like Leo Brouwer and our Dušan Bogdanović.
This event, realized with the valuable support of the Municipality of Vračar, represents another successful step in the mission of the "Musical Vaults of Belgrade" cycle – reviving city museums and cultural monuments by incorporating top-tier musical art into historical spaces.
