The Cultural Element and the International Solo Singers Competition "Lazar Jovanović" presented a solo concert by soprano Milena Damnjanović within the prestigious "Winners" edition. The concert was held with great success on June 9, 2017, at the Progres Gallery in Belgrade.
Milena Damnjanović, accompanied by the excellent piano collaboration of Vladimir Gligorić, performed an extremely rich and demanding program that included works by the most significant composers of classical music, including Schubert, Schumann, Strauss, Shostakovich, Milojević, Rajičić, Tomasi, Tchaikovsky, and Verdi. Her performance once again confirmed the high quality and significance of the "Lazar Jovanović" competition, which traditionally gathers and promotes the best young opera artists.
This concert is just one in a series of successful events from the "Winners" edition, whose main goal is to present the competition winners to the audience in professional concert spaces and further empower them on the domestic and international music scene.
