Within the concert season "Musical Vaults of Belgrade", a significant collaboration with the 15th International Harp Festival was realized through the concert titled "To the End of the World". This event, held on May 19, 2016, at the Residence of Princess Ljubica, connected the world of cinematic art and contemporary musical expression.
Inspiration for the concept of the concert came from the film of the same name by director Wim Wenders. Just as the film triggers and implies different levels of relationships, intertwining of events, coincidences, and values through its multilayered nature, the musical program also explored what is fundamentally enduring and eternal.
Performers Ivana Pavlović on harp and Teodora Nikolić on cello presented a program that included works by Vladimir Tošić, Giacomo Bellucci, and Bernard Andrès. The specific combination of these two instruments in the historical ambiance of the Residence created an atmosphere that guided the audience through the nuances of eternity and transience, confirming the high artistic standards of the season.
