On Thursday, August 31, 2017, in the beautiful ambiance of the Museum of Vuk and Dositej, the Cultural Element ceremoniously closed the season of musical evenings for that summer. Young artists and regular collaborators of the Cultural Element organization performed at this intimate concert: soprano Mina Gligorić, pianist Ana Spremić, and actress Tamara Radovanović.
The concert under the symbolic title "With You, in the Desert" was deeply inspired by and dedicated to the life and work of the famous American poet Emily Dickinson. Her deep, introspective poetry served as the thread that connected the musical compositions and dramatic sections throughout the evening.
In addition to the fascinating story about the life of this enigmatic author, the audience had a rare opportunity to hear compositions by contemporary American and Serbian composers, thus creating an interesting cultural and musical bridge. Like previous events, this summer concert was realized in fruitful cooperation between the National Museum in Belgrade and the Cultural Element, as part of the popular manifestation Museum in the Heart of the City.
