On Thursday, June 21, on the main stage of the Opera and Theater Madlenianum, the Cultural element, in co-production with the Opera & Theater Madlenianum, presented to the Belgrade audience the play Incidences, based on Daniil Kharms. The play combines a number of theatrical motifs. First of all, the acting game of a duodrama in which the backbone of the plot is located. Then, a choreographed dance that conveys the addition, clarification and improvement of the dramatic text that we hear, and at the same time introduces its own separate theme that is equal to the dramatic work. Then there is the music-opera aspect, which complements and improves the whole picture. In all this, we also have elements of shadow theater as well as additional modern audio-visual stage solutions, which finally unites all aspects into one big picture, one stage and one story. The entire conceptual solution of the play derives from the life and work of Daniil Kharms, whose Incidences were a special and lasting inspiration for the emergence of such a modern concept of the play.
