The Kulturni element association (registration number: 28068710) respects your right to privacy and is committed to the responsible handling of personal data. This document explains what data we collect, how we use and store it, and what rights you have — in accordance with the Law on Personal Data Protection of the Republic of Serbia and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1 Data we collect
Newsletter
We collect your email address only when you voluntarily subscribe to receive news about our projects and activities. The legal basis for processing is your explicit consent. You may withdraw your consent at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any newsletter or by sending an email to info@kulturnielement.org. For technical distribution and open-rate statistics we use Mailchimp (The Rocket Science Group LLC, USA), with whom we have a data processing agreement.
Online store
When making a purchase we collect the following data necessary for the fulfilment of the contract: full name, delivery address, phone number and email address. The legal basis is performance of a contract. We do not use this data for marketing purposes without your separate consent, and we share it exclusively with courier services to fulfil your order. Purchase data is retained for 5 years in accordance with accounting regulations.
Website usage data
Our website uses cookies and Google Analytics 4 to collect anonymous visit statistics (e.g. number of visitors, average session duration, traffic sources). IP addresses are anonymised before processing and we do not link analytical data to specific individuals. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in improving user experience. Enquiries and communications
When you contact us via email or forms on the site (e.g. an accreditation request), we collect the data you provide. We use this data solely to respond to your enquiry and retain it for a maximum of 2 years, unless a longer retention period is required to fulfil legal obligations.
2 Social media
We are active on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. Depending on your privacy settings on these platforms, Kulturni element may be able to see your public profile information when you interact with our pages (e.g. likes, comments, messages). Each platform is an independent data controller under the GDPR. We recommend that you review and adjust your privacy settings on the relevant services.
3 Sharing and retention of data
We never sell, rent or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. We share data only with the following categories of recipients, and only to the extent necessary to provide the service:
- Courier services — for the physical delivery of products from the store.
- Mailchimp — for technical distribution of email newsletters.
- Google LLC — for analytics (anonymised data only).
- Competent state authorities — only in cases provided for by law.
