On Saturday, December 9, in the Museum of Ivo Andrić (Andrićev venac 8 / I), the Cultural Element organised an art program “Andrić – portrait and sound” in cooperation with the Belgrade City Museum. The artistic program was prepared in honour of the anniversary of receiving the Nobel Prize (December 10, 1961). On this event, the piano quartet “Animato”, as well as our famous actor Tihomir Tika Stanić, performed in the house of Ivo Andrić, in which the author, with his wife, Milica Babić, lived since 1958. As soon as at the very beginning, the audience was amazed by the convincing performance of Tihomir Stanić, furthermore strengthened due to the incredible physical similarity between Andrić and Stanić. The members of the ensemble “Animato” performed romantic compositions of lavish sound. The Turin piano quartet reminded us of the Spanish evenings and “Goya Talks”, while Bride’s Fantasy depicted Andrić’s escape from solitude to concert halls filled with music and audience crowd.
