On Sunday, October 7, 2018, the Great Hall of the Kolarac Endowment was the stage for another major musical event organized by the Cultural Element and partner GeloRevoice. The concert entitled "Four Temperaments" was a kind of crown and the solemn opening of a series of solo concerts with an orchestra within the "Winners" edition.
The audience had the opportunity to enjoy the performance of tenor Stevan Karanac, the absolute winner of the 15th International Solo Singers Competition "Lazar Jovanović". At the very beginning, the president of the organization Tadija Miletić addressed the audience, announced the upcoming 16th edition of the competition, and emphasized the importance of providing such opportunities to young talents on the biggest stages in the country.
Accompanied by the top-tier Belgrade Symphony Orchestra under the baton of conductor Radan Jovanović, Stevan Karanac performed a demanding program divided into four sections: Melancholic, Phlegmatic, Choleric, and Sanguine. The program was further enriched by excellent guests: sopranos Marija Čuposka and Evgenija Jeremić, as well as the Ars Vocalis choir (prepared by Miroslav Arbanovski).
In the second part of the concert, after the intermission, the audience had the exclusive opportunity to attend the premiere domestic performance of the magnificent Symphony No. 2 "The Four Temperaments" by the Danish composer Carl Nielsen, thereby fully closing the conceptual circle of this grandiose musical event.
