With the concert "Journey Through the Musical Ether", held on Saturday, July 9, 2016, the Belgrade Summer Musical Evenings organized by the Cultural Element officially began, marking the start of our new, significant collaboration with the National Museum in Belgrade.
In the beautiful and authentic ambiance of the Museum of Vuk and Dositej – a true artistic oasis in the very heart of the city – the Cultural Element presented the extraordinary quintet "Dolce". These young artists performed Johannes Brahms' magnificent Piano Quintet in one breath, one of the most demanding and beautiful works of chamber music.
The Quintet "Dolce" consists of Isidora Dramaćanin (violin), Anastasija Stanišić (violin), Bojana Legen (viola), Mladen Arsenović (cello) and Vuk Božilović (piano). Even in their student days, this ensemble stood out with numerous first prizes at national and international competitions. Their performance at the Museum of Vuk and Dositej confirmed their status as one of the most promising young chamber ensembles in the country.
At the very beginning of the concert, the audience was addressed by Lidija Ham, marketing manager of the National Museum, and Dina Čubrilović, music editor of the Cultural Element, who thanked each other for their cooperation and announced the continuation of concert activities within the National Museum's cycle entitled "Museum in the Heart of the City".
