Biography

Dina Miletić (née Čubrilović, Belgrade, 1990) is a Serbian pianist, music editor, and academic lecturer. In the Kulturni element organization, she works as a pianist and program director, is a ballet accompanist at the Theatre on Terazije, and a lecturer and pianist for the voice technique course at the Faculty of Contemporary Arts. She worked as a ballet accompanist at the National Theatre in Belgrade and the "Lujo Davičo" Ballet School.

In addition to pianism and music, Dina is professionally engaged in numerous artistic activities, organization, sound design, directing, and other forms of artistic creation. She has performed at festivals in Belgium, Serbia, Estonia, Croatia, and participated in numerous projects as a soloist and chamber musician. Her performances have been broadcast by Radio Belgrade, and as a soloist, she played with the Symphony Orchestra of the "Stanislav Binički" Artistic Ensemble of the Ministry of Defence.

Education

She acquired her primary and secondary musical education at the "Mokranjac" Music School in Belgrade, in the classes of Prof. Marija Tasovac and Prof. Jasmina Joksimović. She continued her education at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade, where she completed her bachelor's and master's studies in the class of Prof. Dejan Stošić. In parallel, she collaborated with Prof. Arbo Valdma, in whose class she completed specialist studies at the ALU in Belgrade. After that, she continued her professional development at the Royal Conservatoire in Antwerp in the class of renowned pianist Polina Leschenko. She is currently pursuing doctoral studies at the University of Arts – Multimedia Arts study program.

Career

In 2013, as a pianist, she held a concert season in Belgrade and across Serbia with RTS concertmaster Katarina Aleksić, and in the same year performed in Vienna on a project about Wilhelm Furtwängler produced by the Zagreb Dance Center. In the 2014/2015 season, she was a rehearsal assistant in the premiere production of "Don Giovanni" produced by the Flemish Opera. In 2019, she began cooperating with the Yugoslav Drama Theatre on the play "Balava", and frequently performs with soprano Branislava Podrumac.

During the 2014/2015 season, she collaborated with artist Eko Nu on the butoh dance project "Beyond the Metaphor of a Dream" in Antwerp. Following this, the international multimedia projects "The End of an Era" and "Not I", dedicated to theatre and film, were created in the same city.

Since 2014, she has been working in Kulturni element as a pianist and music editor. In cooperation with the association, and with the support of the Belgrade City Museum, she launched the concert season "Musical Vaults of Belgrade" in 2016. The first in a series of events was the concert-play "Quod Fatum" about Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. The same year, she worked as a music editor and concert organizer during the "Museum in the Heart of the City" event.

Within the subsequent seasons of "Musical Vaults of Belgrade", she conceived and realized a series of opera and musical performances, such as the choreo-musical performance "Plaisir d’amour" (56th October Salon), the play "Amadeus" in which she performs the role of Nannerl Mozart, as well as the performances "The Stukas Flew in at Dawn" and "Red October", where alongside pianists Ana Spremić and Nina Kosanić, she performs a series of experimental improvisations for six hands.

She is a member of the artistic ensembles "Duo Midi" and "Trio Alkonost". She has published theoretical texts on music, among which "Latent programmatism of (absolute) music" published by PULSE magazine stands out.

Professional Engagement

From 2016 to 2019, she worked as a pianist at the "Lujo Davičo" Ballet School. From 2019 to 2023, she worked at the National Theatre in Belgrade as a ballet accompanist.

In 2020, she began her pedagogical career as an assistant for the voice technique course at the Faculty of Contemporary Arts, and since 2023 she has been employed at the Theatre on Terazije as a ballet accompanist.
