Biography
Relja Matijaš is a music producer, arranger and composer from Valjevo and a final-year student at the Faculty of Contemporary Arts in Belgrade. As touring organiser at Kulturni element, he brings substantial experience in the production and organisation of cultural events.
Music
In the course of his career he has composed and arranged songs in the contemporary Balkan sound that have reached millions of listeners and helped shape current trends on the regional scene.
Beyond popular music, he has turned his attention to traditional and high art, devoting his creative and organisational skills to developing and delivering cultural projects.
Production and education
He gained experience organising traditional and urban culture events in Belgrade, and through academic and practical work in sound design, composing for film and theatre, editing, video production and multimedia projects.
At Kulturni element
As a member of the Kulturni element production team, he is responsible for developing business partnerships and for planning, coordinating and delivering cultural programmes and events, contributing to their success and to the organisation’s further growth.
