As an integral part of the sixth season of the capital art project Musical Vaults of Belgrade, the artistic performance titled "Lazarice" brings a specific theatrical response to the profound symbols of ritual national folklore. This project represents one of three carefully conceptualized visual-auditory artistic stories. It premiered during the New Year holidays, on January 13 at 8 PM, as a unified thematic continuation alongside the performance "The Marriage of Prince Marko".
At the Residence of Princess Ljubica, through movement, mimicry, and expressive vocal passages, this unusual artistic inspiration was brought to life by talented students from the Faculty of Contemporary Arts. The roles are interpreted by Teodora Gačić, Teodora Bićanin, Marija Marković, Sara Bojić, Bojana Štrbac, Nina Zečević, Milena Golijaš, and Dragana Stojanović, shaping the performance through original stage movements and unique traditional melodies.
The complete concept and direction of this performance are signed by Tadija Miletić. This project, which explores the boundaries of digital artistic expression, was successfully realized with the significant support of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Serbia, continuing the long-standing successful artistic collaboration between the Cultural Element and the Museum of the City of Belgrade.
