On February 25, 2020, National Rotary Day was ceremoniously marked and the 115th anniversary of the existence of Rotary in the world was celebrated. The theme of this special and glamorous evening was "Chicago 1920s", which colored the whole event with the spirit of jazz, elegance, and humanitarian work characteristic of that period.
The Cultural Element organization had the exceptional honor of being the recipient of the main donation of the evening at this prestigious ceremony. In the humanitarian part of the program, thanks to donors and partners from Rotary District 2483, 500,000 dinars were collected. These significant funds are specifically directed to support and further develop the International Solo Singers Competition "Lazar Jovanović", one of the most important opera competitions in the region.
In the show part of the program of this great evening, our famous and multi-award-winning opera artists, tenor Marko Živković and soprano Mina Gligorić, participated. They contributed to the festive atmosphere of the event with their performance. Tadija Miletić officially received the donation on behalf of the Cultural Element association and the "Lazar Jovanović" competition.
On this occasion, the Cultural Element sincerely thanks Rotary District 2483 for their noble initiative, the trust shown, and the unreserved support they provide for the development of culture and art.
