In the elegant and magnificent ambiance of the St. Regis Hotel in Belgrade on April 24, 2026, the Cultural Element had the honor of painting one of the most prestigious events in the city with art – the first Belgrade Legacy Ball, organized and produced by the Business Intelligence Institute. This event was designed as a unique platform that merges creativity, giving, and legacy, gathering individuals from Serbia and Europe who strive to create lasting values.
With the aim of putting the mission of the Manifesto of the Economy of Giving into practice, our artists, under the direction and musical guidance of Tadija Miletić, performed a series of carefully designed performances under the unified title "Discovering Art".
Three Acts of Artistic Magic
The evening began right at the reception of the guests, through the performance "Living Pictures" (Tableaux vivants). Six models created static scenes inspired by the famous artworks of painting greats: Vincent Van Gogh (Nikola Trišić), Tamara de Lempicka (Julija Rajković), Marc Chagall (Nikola Sarmeš), Frida Kahlo (Lana Đuričković), Edgar Degas (Katarina Tričković) and Sava Šumanović (Luka Mićović), introducing the attendees to the world of aesthetics and visual beauty before the program even started, while their performance was complemented by the sounds of Tijana Pavlović's cello.
At the very beginning of the event followed the central performance "Discovering Art". Through the spectacular symbolism of a huge red canvas, from which art symbolically "freed" itself from constraints and conquered the space around it, the dancers led by soloist Milica Jević Drndarević left the audience breathless. The performance was complemented by pianos (Ana Spremić and Dina Miletić), while a special touch was added by Martina Koljenšić through the synergy of opera singing and live painting in the form of painting the ongoing event live.
This year's ball was directly inspired by the painting and creativity of young innovators. The authors of the paintings were undiscovered artists selected through a public call, while innovators from the Startup Shower academy further enriched the program. The crown of the multi-month project was the ceremonial auction of these artworks, followed by the third and final performance, which officially closed the ball and completed the auction.
These and future artworks will form the first collection of paintings of the Belgrade Legacy Ball (2026), aiming to leave a trace of a vision whose values are ethics, aesthetics, love, and creativity. It was an evening celebrating culture where the Cultural Element proudly left its artistic mark, thanking the organizers for their trust and the opportunity to build a legacy for the future together.
